Coronavirus: COVID-19 (Novel Corona Virus)
ECPA is committed to keeping our patients safe and well during the current pandemic. We will now be using Telemedicine for all sick visits. These "virtual" sick visits will allow us to examine your child safely while you remain at home.
Please call ahead to schedule a telemedicine visit time and click here to begin your visit 15 minutes prior to your appointment. We recommend using your smartphone or a computer/laptop with a camera, microphone and Chrome or Firefox installed as the web browser. PLEASE ENTER THE PATIENT NAME.
Evening hours have been temporarily suspended. We will update this website as schedule changes are lifted.
Any time the office is closed, we have a doctor on call who can be reached by calling the office number at 410-465-7550 and choosing option 8. We ask that you only call for urgent matters that cannot wait until regular business hours. Please be aware that there is a charge for phone calls. It will be billed to your insurance company but may be passed on to you if you have a deductible.
At the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics, we are limiting all well-child visits to those that are most essential for immunizations. We will still be seeing your children for well-child visits at the following ages: 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 4 years, and 11 years. All deferred well-child visits will be made up when guidelines have changed and restrictions are lifted.
At this time, we do not have the equipment required to test for COVID-19 in our office.
If you believe your child or other family member needs to be tested for COVID-19, call the Howard County Health Department at 410-313-6284 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They can provide screening and recommendations about whether testing is necessary and, if so, where to obtain testing.

We will continue to keep you up to date as new information and recommendations become available. Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support as we all work together to keep your children healthy, safe and well.
Ellicott City Pediatric Associates, founded in 1970 by Allan "Ted" Leffler, has been providing high quality medical care to infants, children and adolescents for almost 40 years. In fact, we are proud to be treating many of the children of our original patients. The staff at our practice is committed to the continuation of this tradition.
Physicians who care for children have long recognized that children are not simply small adults. We feel that the health needs of their growing bodies and developing minds are best met by Board Certified Pediatricians who are specially trained to manage and prevent the medical, behavioral, and emotional problems of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
