Sick Child Visits & Injuries
For non-urgent visits,
appointments may be scheduled for a day that we can best accommodate your schedule. An example of a "non-urgent" visit would be an appointment to follow up on a chronic medication, such as acne or eczema treatments, allergy medications, oral contraceptives, etc.
For more urgent visits, we provide same day sick and injury appointments. We do encourage scheduling these appointments as early as possible. We may ask that you speak with one of our trained Triage Nurses to help you decide if your child's issue can best be managed at home, in our office, or in the emergency room.
All visits require an appointment. Unfortunately, under most circumstances we are unable to see your child if you walk in without an appointment. You may be asked to return later in the day or another day when the schedule allows.
If more than one child in your family needs to be seen on the same day for an illness, a separate appointment needs to be scheduled ahead of time. We wish to respect your time and the time allotted to other patients that already have appointments and it is unfair to increase waiting times while we evaluate unscheduled siblings.
