COVID-19 VACCINE Ellicott city Pediatric Associates is currently scheduling Covid-19 vaccine appointments for commercially insured patients. ECPA is following the advice of The American Academy of Pediatrics regarding the 2025-26 Covid-19 vaccine. ECPA is recommending the Covid 19 vaccine for all patients 6 months and older.

Ellicott City Pediatric Associates mourns the passing of our beloved colleague, Dr. Edward H. Cahill, III, on September 11, 2026 Dr. Cahill was a part of ECPA almost from the beginning. For over 46 years, he treated innumerable patients, always with compassion, wisdom and respect. He had an innate understanding of what each patient needed to grow and thrive. Dr. Cahill is irreplaceable, but he lives on in our hearts. If anyone wants to share a handwritten remembrance of Dr. Cahill, we will make sure his family receives it. There will be a basket at the front desk available for you to place any letters, drawings or cards. We thank you all for your understanding and support as we remember our mentor, colleague, and dear friend, Dr. Cahill.

Once again, Ellicott City Pediatric Associates is offering nurse flu clinic appointments. Please call asap to schedule your appointment. If possible, please complete, print and sign this Flu Questionnaire prior to your visit for a flu vaccine. As your Primary Care Physician (PCP), we recommend that you receive your flu vaccine at our office so that all of your questions or concerns can be addressed at the same time. Afterward, your immunization record will be immediately updated and you will have access to our telephone triage nurse for follow up advice. Our behavioral health provider, Kaitlyn Sarcia, has been a great addition to ECPA. Katie is a licensed clinical professional counselor with over 10 years of experience. Katie specializes in working with children and adolescents, as well as college students and young adults.

ECPA is Partnering with Hello Pediatrics to provide after-hours care. Ellicott City Pediatric Associates is delighted to announce that as of June 15, 2026 , ECPA will be partnering with Hello Pediatrics , a group of Board-Certified Pediatricians, to provide after-hours care, including telephone advice and an option for after-hours telehealth appointments if desired. Your child's on-call and telehealth visit notes will be entered into their ECPA medical records, and an ECPA physician will offer follow-up and continuing care. For urgent but not life-threatening problems, when Ellicott City Pediatric Associates is closed, you can reach Hello Pediatrics by calling our office at 410-465-7550 . Starting June 15, 2026, on-call phones will be answered by Hello Pediatrics 24/7 when our office is closed.
